Admission requirements
• Undergraduate Degree or higher degree in graphic design with a university qualification.
• Those without a university degree will have the right to apply, by virtue of their proven professional experience, for an accreditative Diploma.

Which is the relationship between graphic design and the content? Exploring the symbiosis between printed and digital design.
We live in a moment of continuous change in which publishing design has become one of the most complex disciplines a designer can face. The relationship between design and content is more important than ever. The printed mean re-invents itself before the speed of a digital world in which strategies and channels keep evolving.
The Master in Editorial Design gives you the possibility to understand this process of change as an opportunity. You will explore different disciplines by international experts of the field and you will experiment by creating editorial projects related to periodical publications (magazines, press…), specific publications according to the contents (books, collections…) and editorial environments based on the narrative of contents. You will also participate in workshops, showcases and international lectures to become a professional conformed to the current reality. You will be able to make graphic design a tool that gives value to the content.
Objectives
Knowledge of three big editorial design main ideas:
- The editorial project that is based on parameters established as a basis for the periodical publication of information and/or pre-established contents.
- The project that is structured having as a starting point the specificity of the content and is specifically built for this content.
- The digital environment. New formats, new supports, new needs in a world where access to information and contents is immediate.
Competences
- Knowledge of the formalization of the editorial design projects applied to different disciplines.
- Knowledge of the use of typography in different environments of editorial design.
- Comprehension of the existing relationship between editorial design and content.
- Application of editing ideas, orthotypography, UX, graphic editing, writing and video used in editorial design projects.
